Oyster Catchers are endangered birds that only live along this specific coastline in South Africa. Experience the beautiful Coastline from the Reins Nature Reserve to Mossel Bay over 3 Days whilst running with the Sea on your right during the Oyster Catcher 3 dayTrail Run. Day 3: Stage 2 of the Oyster Catcher
Day 4: Final stage of the Oyster Catcher, ending in Mossel Bay at the Point with the prize giving, food and drinks at the Big Blue Restaurant, a restaurant on the rocks with waves crashing against them. After saying goodbyes we head back to the Sandpiper to unwind and relax those tired muscles.
Day 5: Head off to Jakkalsvlei Wine for wine tasting and a pizza lunch.
After a morning of learning about wine making and wine tasting, head off to Millwood hiking hut close to Knysna for an all forest experience.
Day 6: Spend the day bird watching and hiking through the historical forest. Different hiking options available. Keep your eyes open for the Knysna Elephants.
Day 7: A sad goodbye to the forest and head to Knysna for an exciting trip on the John Ben, to the Feather Bed Nature Reserve. Here we will have buffet lunch and a hike in the Nature Reserve.
Hereafter we head to De Zeekoe Guest Farm in Oudtshoorn for a wildlife experience.
Day 8: Start the morning with the world famous Meerkat Tour followed by a wildlife adventure at Cango Wildlife Ranch. Maybe even climb in with the crocodiles?
Day 9: The Cango caves are a must see in Oudtshoorn, so spend the morning exploring this magical underground world. Then get ready for next level of entertainment at the High Gate Ostrich Farm and eat the world’s largest egg.
Day 10: That’s all we have time for and head back to George Airport to fly back home.
