The Western and Southern Cape have been hit by severe storms this week and due to the extreme weather conditions continuing over the weekend of 10 June, we were forced to postpone the Oyster Catcher Ultra to 18 November 2017.
Winds of between 50 ̶ 100km/h are predicted from the north-west and as our athletes’ safety is of paramount importance we have decided to postpone the event.
We have contacted all runners via telephone and email informing them of the postponement. Entrants will not loose their money ̶ alternative arrangements are being made.
Our hearts and prayers go out to the residents of the Garden Route who has been affected by the severe weather conditions and devastating fires in the area.
Please contact us if you have any questions about the event.
