The Southern Cross Trail run claims to be the most diverse trail run in South Africa. Seeing that the terrain ranges from fynbos mountains to indigenous forests to stunning garden route coastal scenery, they might have a point 🙂

This year I was only able to do the final day (day 3) 🙁 but luckily the organisers saved the best for last 🙂

I got to start earlier that the rest of the runners. Which meant that I had the beach entirely to myself for a couple of serene minutes…
