Sonja is an Open Water Scuba Instructor and thus allows us to offer various dive courses for various levels of experience. They offer these courses on all their tours and can also work out a scuba training programme for you in Mossel Bay
On offer are courses ranging from a one day course called a Discover Scuba Diving course up to qualifying you as a Dive Master

Tri Diving PADI Recreational Dive Courses Price Lists:
OPEN WATER DIVE: R500 pp per dive
Dive at Mossel bay, Knysna or Pletterberg Bay, includes transfer, but not gear rental. Gear rental is R400 pp per day extra
PADI DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING – R1200
Age 10 and up. See what the hype’s about! This experience program includes some theory, 1 pool session, 1 sea dive and all equipment.
Additional supervised dives cost R400 each (equipment rental not included).
PADI OPEN WATER DIVER – R6900
Age 10 and up. Completion of this course allows you to dive to 18m. The course consists 5 theory & 5 pool sessions, an exam and 4 open water dives. The course includes all equipment, PADI Open Water Diver Manual & RDP (required) and PADI certification.
PADI ADVENTURE DIVE – R975
Age 10 and up (depending on which Adventure Dive). If you want a taste of the Advanced Open Water course, or you don’t have time to do the whole course, try an Adventure Dive. The course consists of 1 knowledge review and 1 open water dive, under instructor supervision. PADI Advanced Open Water Manual (required) and all equipment is included in the course price. Additional Adventure dives charged at R375.
PADI ADVENTURE DIVER – R3550
Age 10 and up (depending on which Adventure Dive). The course includes 3 knowledge reviews, 3 Adventure Dives, all equipment and the PADI Advanced Open Water Manual (required).
PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER – R6900
Age 10 and up. This qualification provides the novice diver with additional, supervised experience which allows you to dive up to depths of 30m. It consists of 5 supervised training dives. There are two mandatory dives: Deep and Navigation. You can choose the three elective dives from: Boat; Drift; Multilevel; Peak Performance Buoyancy, AWARE (Fish ID), Night or Underwater Naturalist. The course includes all equipment, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Manual (required) and PADI certification.
EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE (Primary & Secondary Care+ AED) – R1500
No age limit. Learn to give CPR and First Aid to someone in need! EFR is a one day course which teaches you the fundamentals in coping with an emergency situation (including use of Automated External Defibrillator). A valid EFR certificate is mandatory to begin the PADI Rescue Course. The course includes an EFR Manual and Quick Reference Card (required).
PADI RESCUE DIVER – R4500
Age 12 and up. Some serious fun! This course is designed to expand your knowledge and experience beyond a purely recreational level. Although great fun, the course is quite serious in nature and context, enabling divers to effectively perform rescues and assists, manage emergency situations and give proper first aid. A valid CPR/ First Aid certificate is mandatory to begin the PADI Rescue Course. The course includes theory, exam, 5 pool sessions, 4 open water scenarios, the PADI Rescue Diver Manual (Required); all equipment and PADI certification.
PADI Enriched Diver – R3500
Age 15 and up. Student must be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent rating). Learn to dive with enriched air. The course includes a Enriched Dive manual, an exam, dive with Nitrox and a PADI Certification.
PADI MASTER DIVER– R1200
This is just a registration process. You need to have at least 50 logged dives, Advance and a Rescue diver as well as 5 certified PADI Specialty courses to apply to become a Master Diver. See list of Specialties above as well as how many logged dives is required before you can register for the highest non-professional rating in the PADI system. This is a diver classification that denotes superior achievement.
PADI DIVEMASTER – R15 900
Age 18 and up. This is the first level in diving leadership and is designed to provide you with the necessary skills to organize, conduct and supervise recreational diving activities as well as to act as an instructor’s assistant. The course provides extensive theoretical diving knowledge and hands on experience dealing with student divers. All training dives, pool sessions, are included in the course price. PADI Registration fees are not included in the price as this is subject to change with exchange rate fluctuations (currently £58). Course materials (DM Crew Pack) and snorkel equipment are not included. Please enquire about the DM crew pack that suits your needs best. .
PADI SPECIALTY COURSES PRICE LIST
A.W.A.R.E CONSERVATION – R850
No age limit. The AWARE – Conservation Specialty course teaches divers, snorkelers and non-divers about the vital role coral reefs play in the marine environment and how these ecosystems are currently threatened. How can you help protect the living reef from further decline? The program is a non-diving course that only contains classroom presentations. The course includes tuition and PADI certification.
BOAT DIVER – R1450
Age 10 and up. Student must be certified as PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent rating). The course is designed to introduce you to boat diving and develop the skills, knowledge and techniques used for boat diving. It 2 dives, tuition and PADI certification.
DEEP Diver – R3900
Age 15 and up. Student must be certified as PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent rating). Learn to plan dives up to a maximum depth of 40m and emergency decompression procedures. The course includes 4 dives, all equipment and PADI certification.
DRIFT DIVER – R3000
Age 12 and up. Student must be certified as PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent rating). This course helps the student develop the knowledge and techniques required for drift diving. It consists of 2 dives, tuition, all equipment and PADI certification.
NIGHT DIVER- R4300
Age 12 and up. Student must be certified as PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent rating). This course helps the student develop the knowledge and techniques required for night diving. It consists of 3 dives, tuition, all equipment and PADI certification.
PEAK PERFORMANCE BUOYANCY – R2550
Age 10 and up. Student must be certified as PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent rating). PPB combines knowledge development and practical skills practice to enhance your buoyancy beyond Open Water Diver level. The course includes tuition, 2 open water dives, all equipment and
PADI certification. PROJECT AWARE – R1500
No age limit. The Project AWARE Specialty program is designed to familiarize divers and non-divers with the plight of worldwide aquatic ecosystems. What can individuals do to help protect aquatic resources? The program is a non-diving course that only contains classroom presentations. The course includes tuition and PADI
certification.
SEARCH AND RECOVERY – R3900
Age 12 and up. Student must be certified as PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent rating). The course helps the student develop the skills and knowledge required for safe search and recovery diving. The course includes 4 dives, all equipment and PADI certification
UNDERWATER NAVIGATION – R3500
Age 10 and up. Student must be certified as PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent rating). Learn to use a compass and orientate yourself underwater. The course includes all equipment, tuition, 3 dives and PADI certification.
UNDERWATER NATURALIST – R2050
Age 10 and up. Student must be certified as PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent rating). Expand your knowledge of the underwater world- fish, corals and algae! The course includes all equipment, tuition, 2 dives and PADI certification.
